RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Process paperwork for purchase of supplies and equipment,
Provide proper documentation for payment of invoices,
Maintain documentation for balancing budget accounts,
Receive and deposit all money received in the office,
Assist in securing substitute teachers as needed,
Maintain paperwork required for completion of monthly absentee report and for substitute payroll,
Enter /retrieve information on student absentees/discipline,
Enter information to obtain purchase orders,
Accept telephone calls and visitors to the office,
Assist parents, the community, district staff, and school staff on matters related to the school as directed,
Type letters, memos, reports, and other communications and distribute communications as directed,
Perform other tasks as assigned by the school principal.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma
Bookkeeping/accounting skills
Good command of the English language
Proficiency in typing and computer/data entry
Ability to use word processing software
Ability to enter and retrieve computer data
Possess good public relations skills
PERIOD OF EMPLOYMENT:
215 days per year - Elementary
